WILD YAK LUXURY offers you an exclusive trek combining visits to UNESCO cultural sites, a four-day hike and a flight with a Eurocopter AS350 to Mount Everest. This area is one of the world’s most recommended travel destinations and frequently features in the top ranks of visiting destinations with National Geographic and outdoor magazines. Thanks to some of the most spectacular and beautiful mountain scenery in the world and the famous friendliness and hospitality of the Sherpa people, who continue their traditional cultural and religious practices. Our trip proposes the very best the Everest region, officially known as Sagarmatha National Park, has to offer: superlative and exceptional natural beauty displayed in the dramatic mountains, glaciers, deep valleys and majestic peaks, including, of course, the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest reaching 8,848 meters. This carefully preserved natural heritage was recognized by UNESCO with the inscription of the park as a World Heritage Site in 1979. During our stay in Kathmandu at the UNESCO Heritage Hotel Dwarika, we visit the three ancient cities of Kathmandu which are BhaktapurLalitpur and Kantipur (modern-day Kathmandu). These are believed by the archaeologists to be two thousand years old and still possess richness in ancient monuments and handicrafts. We will also explore some exotic UNESCO heritage sites like Darbar square, Swambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Bhaktapur. Our trek then starts with an unforgettable 35 minutes flight to Tenzing-Hillary Lukla airstrip, during which you can enjoy the spectacular panorama of the mighty Himalayan Mountains towering Himalaya’s hilly terraces. A short two-day trek containing a good hike to Namche at 3,440 m / 11,287 ft will enchant you with typical local vegetation, stone craft walls, colorful monasteries, and Stupas (Tibetan Pagoda). It will be a lifetime experience to sleep in Namche and further up to Syanboche 3,780 m / 12,402 ft with a superlative view of Mount Everest from your room. A short flight to Kongde will offer you a memorable 360-degree panorama view of the Himalaya and a great overnight stay in the unique, isolated Hotel Yeti Home. The last day on the mountain, we will enjoy a helicopter flight around the 8000-meter giants of the Himalaya, like Mount Everest, Cho-oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu, also featuring numerous 7000-meter peaks, such as AmaDablam. We will then fly straight to Dhulikhel Resort (hilltop village close to Kathmandu). This extraordinary experience is well worth doing once in a lifetime, so let’s explore the world’s mightiest mountains in the most exclusive and luxurious way possible!
